Keep one approved version

Create a clearly named folder for approved assets. Separate experiments from files that are ready to use. Record the date or version when a decision changes.

Make filenames useful

A name like homepage-hero-approved is easier to understand than final-final-2. Include the subject or placement in a filename so the next person can use it with less guesswork.

Include the supporting details

A photograph may need a caption and alt text. A service card needs a title, description and destination link. Treat those details as part of the asset, not an afterthought.

Write down the unresolved questions

List content, contact information, prices or permissions that still need confirmation. Clear unknowns are easier to resolve than assumptions hidden inside a design.
